25. Predictions about Prophet Muhammad.

In the following verses (7:157, 48:29, 61:6) of the Quran we find material to suggest that there were predictions about Prophet Muhammad in the earlier scriptures Torah, and Injeel.

The Jews on learning through their prophets about Prophet Muhammad’s banishment from Makkah and possible emigration to Madina, they began to leave their then mother land Egypt and Palestine to settle down in Madina.

The reason being that they should be the first to welcome Prophet Muhammad and accept his religion. But the descendants of these people settled there knowingly rejected Prophet Muhammad when he arrived. They feared their power might diminish and influence wane. These are the highlights in the above verses.
