377. Wages for propagating Islam.

It can be seen in many verses of the Quran, that monetary wages should not be demanded for propagating the religion of Islam

It is specified that nothing should be expected for propagating Islam except one thing.

While propagating Islam among relatives, one can demand their love as wages by citing the relationship in between them.

There were close relatives of Prophet Mhammad in the group to whom he propagated Islam.

Allah in this verse of the Quran, commands Prophet Muammad to ask from his relatives, their love as wages for spreading God’s word among them, since they happened to be his relatives.

From this it could be understood we can demand help by citing our bond with our relations.

Similarly, it could be observed in verse 25:57 of the Quran Allah commanding Prophet Muhammad to demand the people themselves as wages for having taught their religion to them. The message conveyed here is the objective of propagating Islam among people is to earn divine satisfaction.
